Save Paws and Claws Animal Rescue From Closing

Paws and Claws Animal Rescue has been operating in Portland, Oregon for over 11 years, saving hundreds of abandoned and abused animals each year. We currently care for over 80 dogs and cats, many of whom have suffered severe trauma and require ongoing veterinary care.

Due to a sudden spike in operating costs and a decline in donations following the pandemic, we are facing a severe financial crisis. Without immediate funding, we will be forced to close our doors within 60 days. All animals in our care would need to be urgently rehomed or transferred to overcrowded kill shelters.

Your donation will go toward monthly shelter rent, veterinary bills, food and supplies, and the salaries of our three part-time animal care workers. Every contribution helps us keep the lights on and gives our animals the second chance at life they deserve. Please help us stay open and continue our mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
